Description
Lady Johanna, widowed at sixteen, vowed she would never marry again. But when King John selects a groom and demands she remarry, it seems she has no choice. Then her foster brother suggests she marry his friend, warrior Gabriel MacBain. Hesitant at first, Johanna begins to fall for Gabriel when he sheds his gruff facade and surrenders his heart completely. And when the King threatens to tear their marriage apart and destroy Gabriel, Johanna realizes just how much he means to her.
